Construction begins on $280M sports complex in Homestead
Construction is underway on the $280 million Sports Performance Hub, a 92-acre sports and education campus rising in Homestead, Florida. The privately funded project will include a 10,000-seat stadium for Miami FC, multi-sport academies, a hotel, a boarding school, and sports medicine facilities aimed at creating a regional training and competition hub. Construction continues on the Tennessee Titans’ new 60,000-seat Nissan Stadium in Nashville, scheduled to open in 2027. Denver’s new NWSL team launches after rapid 14-month buildout
Denver Summit FC is entering the 2026 NWSL season after a rapid 14-month launch effort led by owner Rob Cohen and club president Jen Millet, assembling staff, facilities, and operations in record time. The expansion franchise will play its early seasons at a temporary venue in Centennial while planning a 14,500-seat purpose-built stadium in Denver targeted for 2028. Read more here.
