Pat Coyle has spent more than three decades at the intersection of sports, technology, media, and business, with experience spanning professional and collegiate sports, digital strategy, sponsorship, fan engagement, product development, and venue technology.
His work today focuses on the business implications of stadium tech and the decisions that shape venue performance over time. He writes and researches topics including technology investment, infrastructure, convergence, operating efficiency, and long-term venue economics.
Coyle also curates STR Converge, a series of strategic leadership retreats for senior executives shaping the future of stadiums and mixed-use districts. And he manages the STR Affiliate Program, working with stadium technology companies to help them build deeper relationships, greater market access, and stronger influence across the venue technology industry.

After graduating from Oklahoma State University, Dan began his career as a desktop publishing creative for a 96 page Dallas-based magazine. 70-hour work weeks and no social life were a culture shock to say the least. Since then, Dan has joined several world-wide agencies working on numerous global brands including Jack Daniel’s, PepsiCo, U.S. Air Force, National Geographic, ConocoPhillips, Paramount, Universal, Sony Pictures, 20th Century Fox and more. In 2014, he began working as Creative Director and Marketer in the sports and entertainment world. Outside of work Dan is a private pilot who enjoys wakesurfing, hunting, fishing, running and firing up the grill on the weekends.
