The Kansas City Chiefs revealed plans to leave Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri and build a new $3 billion domed stadium in Kansas City, Kansas, with completion targeted for the 2031 NFL season after Kansas lawmakers approved a major STAR bonds incentive package to support the project. While legal conditions and NFL approvals remain, Missouri still has a narrow window to put forward a competing proposal that could keep the franchise at Arrowhead, making the relocation far from finalized.
